FamilySearch has always used the latest technology to help people learn more about their ancestors. Now, this nonprofit organization sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is providing genealogy-related videos on its FamilySearch YouTube channel.

Fun and inspirational videos are available for the rookie genealogist and the seasoned veteran alike. For those new to family history research, a series called Genealogy in 5 Minutes shows how to get started. The Woven Generations playlist features powerful stories of people connecting with their family heritage.

Additionally, videos in the Genealogical Societies and Archives playlist show how FamilySearch works with genealogical societies and archives to provide access to more records online and to further mutual interests in family history.
