Last week, Fox News, like many other news outlets, covered the rally by children of polygamist families in Salt Lake City.
The event had nothing to do with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, Fox conducted interviews with the Salt Lake Temple in the background. That action sparked a flurry of phone calls, e-mails and other commentary to the Church and Fox.
Fox anchor Greta Van Susteren responded to two such e-mails on the Fox News Web site.
Ms. Van Susteren graciously acknowledged that the temple should not have been part of the shot.
