David M. McConkie

David M. McConkiewas serving as a stake president when he was called as the first counselor in the Sunday School general presidency. Previous Church service includes serving as a counselor in a stake presidency, on a high council and as a bishop.  

Brother McConkie is an attorney practicing law at a Salt Lake City–based law firm. He received his law degree from the University of Utah. Brother McConkie and his wife JoAnne are the parents of seven children.
